u of t, mcgill or queens for commerce?

I've been admitted to Queens Commerce, U of T Rotman and McGill Management/Arts for next year. I'm going into either law or business school afterwards, and hope to work outside of Canada - what's the best school? I've heard good things about all three.

It honestly does not matter. They are all great schools, and both can readily lead to law or MBA program and where you did your ug of these 3 will not matter (fwiw I’m a faculty member in a business school). Choose the school that seems to suit you best, be it location, size, student body, culture. As an aside, it really doesn’t make much sense to purposefully choose an undergrad in business with the aim to get an MBA. But that is for another thread.

I’ve been admitted to Queens Commerce, U of T Rotman and McGill Management too!!

McGill Management is my first choice. Although Desautels is not as good as Rotman and Queen’s Commerce, Mcqill has a better reputation than UT and queen’s.

Are you a Canadian or an international student?

I think U of T and McGill are the best overall choices. Rotman is my top choice and I chose it over McGill, Queens, Schulich, and Ivey. Being in Toronto opens so many opportunities for internships and recruitment. Also, attending their BCom program gives you a better chance to get into their MBA program, which is undeniably the best in the county. U of T is not only one of the best schools in the country, it is one of the best in the world. Though the program is vigorous, it is worth it for it’s strong international reputation. Also, if you want to get into finance, specifically investment management, this is the place to be, as you will get hands on experience in Toronto’s stock market. Good luck with your decisions! ;)
