Hi guys, I’ve been admitted to Rotman Commerce and Victoria College for undergrad studies. I have also been offered a place in the Chambers stream of Vic One. I am currently debating which school to go to, UofT or Mcgill? So I’ve done my research online and it seems that (?) Rotman has a bad reputation… I am not completely believing, so please help me by answering a few questions.
- What is the graduation rate and first year retention rate at Rotman Commerce?
- Are there many people who choose to pursue another degree after graduation? I'm thinking of going to the US for grad school. What are the graduate school options after graduating with an B. Comm from Toronto? I may be interested in doing Law, or other non-management masters. Does Rotman have many resources to help you with the transition?
- What is the placement rate of graduates seeking employment?
- How is the curriculum at Rotman balanced between theory, research and practical elements?
- How competitive are the study abroad programs at Toronto?
- Who are undregrads taught by? Professors? TAs? Maybe even grad students?
