HI, guys, I just got in william&mary and Rochester as a transfer student from a CC in CUNY.
I want to major in Econ, and work in Wall Street later. any advise? I just got rejected by UCLA 5 mins ago…
just got acceptance letter from UC Berkeley and UVA!
Great options. They could all work for you. Which do you think fit you best?
You mention that you want to major in Econ. You could potentially do business (finance) as well, at least at W&M, UVA, and Berkeley. Is Rochester only graduate business?
UVA for wallstreet
Thank you for your message!
I want to study a board major in undergraduate study, so i choice Econ over finance, but after that I will work a few years then get my MBA probably in Finance. I planned to get my CFA level 1 before I graduate from 4 years college.
I don’t know if i can transfer into Business school or not… or do double major? anyone know?
I get in all the school for Econ, I personally like UVA more, it seems they are a target school in Wall Street, larger endowment. Smaller school, and less boy more girls. haha~
but some how it seems many people think UC Berkely is more globally recognized. I came from other country so I want to hear what you guys think about it.
for W&M, great school with strong liberal art education, but could not compete with UCB and UVA in Banking i think…
I’m still waiting for Washington U in St. Columbia, Penn and Cornell…
ObseesedWcollege,
Could you tell me why? I want to write down all the information from different perspective, and make a decision later…
All are good for Wall Street, agree UVA would be top choice. UCB has the highest global profile. Great choices. Good luck!
