<p>What exactly does this mean?</p>

<p>I'm applying from Canada and I'm debating whether I should fill out the Self-Reported Course Work Page.
And there is also the issue with whether I should send in the mid-year report.</p>

<p>My reading is that a "U.S.-based school system" would be an international school. I am going to check on this, as I can't find any information on the MIT site.</p>

<p>I emailed the admission office a couple days ago and asked if I should complete the self reported course work (I am international as well) and they were extremely nice and said: You may complete Part 2 with your classes, but it is not required - we will see the attached transcript with all the information.</p>
