UA allows Presidential Scholarship to cover Graduate School

<p>University of Alabama just announced that "Presidential Scholarships, Presidential/Merit Scholarships, and National Achievement Scholarships will be able to be used for graduate school. So, if you are able to get your accounting degree without using the entire scholarship, you can apply it to graduate school."<br>
Qualify for Presidential with a 3.5 GPA and 32 ACT or 400–1600 SAT score (critical reading and math scores only). UA is known for generous AP score credit so very easy for students to start as as sophomore. DS had enough credits to start as a second semester sophomore allowing him to double major. Wish this was available earlier as he would have strategized differently. Recruiting very active at UA.
Deadline to apply December 15. Value $99,800 plus the cost of graduate school (MACC) for Presidential scholarships; more for National Merit Finalists</p>
