I am a senior and I have applied to these colleges. Now we play the waiting game and see where I got in. In the mean time, what do you think my chances are at these colleges? I live in Massachusetts so I am out of state at 7 out of 9.

SATs will kill you, as OOS at UF it's a VERY high reach and OOS at FSU it's a small reach. Your grades are good, but maybe you should retake the SAT or take the ACT. I don't know about the other ones.

Why UMass Boston over Amherst?

You are unlikely to be admitted to the Univ. of Florida. FSU is easier, but still unlikely since you are an out-of-state applicant.

An 1120/1600 SAT is quite unlikely to get you into Florida State, especially as an OOS applicant.

umass amherst is the stereotypical college that people from my high school go to

a lot of people are chancing me at the florida colleges. i know they're the hardest to get into. what about the other places?
