I have been accepted into both University of British Columbia and University of Toronto (Mississauga campus) for the upcoming autumn. At first, UBC was my first option as I really liked the international community as well as the prestige it holds. My idea was to major in Economics in the Faculty of Arts. However, I began to read opinions from other people and it seemed clear that a mayor in Economics within the Bachelor of Arts is not as valuable as a major in Economics within the Faculty of Commerce (which is what I was offered in Mississauga). Can anyone tell me:
- What is the difference between Bachelor of Arts Economics and Bachelor of Commerce Economics?
- Does any of the two hold more value over the other?
- If I want to do a Masters in Economics after graduating, which course do you think is better for me?
