UC #1: Dreams and Aspirations?

My specific question is whether or not "following the upbringing techniques that your parents have raised you so that you can raise your children the same that they have done to you" a dream or not?

My editor claims that "raising your kids the same way your parents raised you" is NOT a dream/aspiration.

I believe that is total BS because as defined in the dictionary, dream: "A hopeful or vain ambition"

I need your insight guys. Thanks for replying in advance

Bump. I need your opinions guys

It's not a career goal/dream, but I think it's still a dream for yourself. A personal one.

It's a personal aspiration. Maybe your editor doesn't like the topic because it sounds too "goody-goody" or doesn't make you sound like an independent thinker--it depends on how you write it.

I think it definitely works as a future dream you want to fulfill. However, you may want to try and write your essay in a more heartwarming and personal way to bring the admissions officer into your family. Good luck!
