Hey, I'm a California resident, graduating high school this June.
I applied to all of the UCs last fall, EXCEPT for Berkeley, Riverside, and LA, and my weighted GPA is approximately 3.65, and my SAT score is 2120 (reading: 700, math: 710, writing: 710).
I took subject tests in math II (670) and Lit (650).

I was just wondering, do i have a good chance of getting into these UC schools. I'm hoping for Davis or Santa Barbara, and maybe Santa Cruz. San Diego would also be nice. What do you guys think?

You should have applied for Berkeley! You’d definitely get accepted anywhere.

with your GPA and score, you will be accepted by all UCs …

OP – disregard please the above two posts. a 3.65 weighted GPA would have little chance of getting in to UCLA or Berkeley (<15%) when the ave enrolled student has 4.18-4.20.

UCSD is still less than 50%, unless you have a lot of points in their formula for 1st generation, single parent home, low income, academic advancement program, life challenges, etc.

Remember that UCs care more about UC weighted GPA than they do about SAT… that works against your particular mix of strengths.

You match well to UCSC, and UCSB, Irvine and Davis are all reaches for you. If you have overcome big life challenges, then UCSB, Irvine and Davis go up in probability from about 40% to abuot 60%.

just hope for the best. Admissions is hard to figure out.
