UC app: Credit/Grades From An Outside Foreign Language Course?

Hi, I submitted my UC app on Tuesday morning, but I realized that I forgot to find out something. For years, I took Mandarin at a Chinese School, and I was able to receive 40 (10 a year) foreign language credits and an A in all four years, as verified by the Chinese school and approved by my high school. These are in addition to my credits for taking four years of Spanish. So I am wondering: Would the UCs accept this and use these grades toward calculating my GPA and when evaluating me? And which portion (as in which year) would I enter these grades? I am planning to call one of the offices tomorrow to ask about this, but since they are closed right now I thought I'll ask if anyone on CC has experience with this. :) Thanks.

Hm.. I took chinese for three years at community college and put it in the appropriate year slots.
Are your classes UC-approved? If so, just add the school and add the classes when you took them.

Sorry, I didn't make clear that I finished the courses before I started high school, but I went back with a form that I got from the guidance office, and the Chinese school principal gave me letters and signed the form to give me the credits. So it wouldn't be accurate if I just split up the four years and assign a year to each year of high school. They should be UC-approved; the way they are listed on my transcript makes them look like any other foreign language course, but I'm not sure what exactly to do with them.

Thanks for your input!
