Just to clarify, if my dad went to college but dropped out and never completed his degree, would I put for his highest level of education “some college” rather than “high school graduate”? Sorry, seems like a dumb question, but just want to make sure.
The question is to determine if you are considered First Generation so I would put High school graduate since he never completed his degree.
@Gumbymom Would you happen to know what exactly the option “some college” is though? Because there’s high school graduate, some college, and college graduate, so it seemed like some college was like the middle ground that applied to my case.
You can report either way and family info is not required but optional. The UC’s are just trying to determine if you are considered a 1st generation applicant so either option will work since your Father did not complete his degree.
