<p>@JeffJenks I did attend the Life as a psychology major! PSI CHI, the honor society for psychology majors seems like a great opportunity. It was intriguing how one of the guys apart of the panel was describing how he was researching the effects of Dopamine on the brain and he is currently doing that at UCSF’s campus with 9 Berkeley professors and 3 UCSF professors.</p>
<p>If I get in I do not know what I will do research in. I want to go to graduate school for either higher education and administration or Industrial and Organizational psychology. Do you know if Sociology professors are cool with psychology majors doing research with them? I feel that it would be pretty applicable to education and higher administration.</p>
<p>Reading all of these posts makes me so excited to apply next year. Here is my status so far:</p>

<p>@themadman I applied as a psych major but I want to double major - Media studies if I go to Cal and Communications if I go to UCLA. I’ve done some research on it - shouldn’t be a problem. It’ll be harder at UCLA with their communications dep.</p>

<p>My friend got into UC Berkeley, Columbia, and Duke last year but ended up choosing UCLA psych and she is an Hollywood actress who transferred from Santa Monica City College:</p>
