I’m with @MikeSauce - they should really change the name of TAG to something else, like TANQGBOSCTA (transfer admission not quite guaranteed but one step closer to admission). That would really clear up the massive amount of ambiguity surrounding the thing. Here I was, thinking that TAG was guaranteed admission, essentially the same thing as an admissions letter, provided requirements are met. It appears that I am gravely mistaken. I suppose my skull is too thick.
@csmajortom NO. What I am saying is that a good work ethic MAY or MAY not be able to get you into a prestigious institution, but whether you get in or not does not matter because your work ethic will always be with you.
@RAHforHEE
Like I said before, I’m sure employers also take into account the quality of education an applicant receives. You’re right, work ethic is an innate quality that stays with people. But do you really think a Fortune 500 company would hire an applicant who just received their diploma from some shady online college over one who just received their diploma from a top university in the world?
@goldencub I never said that. I said that it is guaranteed if you follow the proper steps and as a reward you will receive an admissions decision.
Weren’t you supposed to be getting some rest tonight so you can come a little harder for tomorrows argument? Better yet, you seem to have plenty of energy now, or will you ever even respond to my acquisitions against you?
@csmajortom How about you try to answer the question yourself? I’ve provided you with plenty of detail on my argument. I am sure you know what my answer will be.
@RAHforHEE I see no point in arguing with somebody who does not believe in transitivity. That would be a waste of my time. I’m on right now for entertainment.
@goldencub It’s not transitivity if I am not putting work ethic and prestige in the same category. There are no two arguments that can lead to a definite third in this situation. I’ve already talked about this.
I’m still waiting on someone to give me a good reason as to why prestige even matters in a job field.
No, you accepted that x=y and y=z, but somehow you claim that x cannot equal z. For the record, I disagree with what you accepted. But these are things that you did accept, look through your comments, I promise you that they’re there.
So, again, I see no point in having a real argument with somebody who insists on being illogical.
@csmajortom When you bring in factors like online college versus prestigious university, you’re being very unfair in your argument and trying to find anything to make your point seem valid.
You will all see that the school you go to does not matter, whether it be now or way into the future. I just wanted to help you all understand that, and if you don’t, by all means. It will eventually happen.
