It says the housing application opens in May for Fall Transfers
@lovelyyliz looking forward to see what the financial aid office has to say as well! Mine is blank too. I’m worried it has something to do with us trying to enroll for summer because mine says a bunch of stuff about summer classes only.
Does anyone know if you’re allowed to apply for housing (off campus) for fall if you were admitted for spring? I’d rather move in fall and get a feel for the area before starting in January.
Accepted.
Out of state transfer, EECS

If anyone else is out of state, shoot me a PM.
@BondoNekat Yes, I was.
Does anyone know when the Regents scholarship notification will be out?
@LandUseLaw thanks. it’s actually open now, but it’s not first come first served, thank goodness.
So I’ve noticed that classes are already filling up
I wonder what time FinAid will be up ugh
@lexluther96 bruh
@Twenmi Thanks you !!! My EC are just average: Science tutor 19 hours a week, engineering club officer, volunteering at a language school,
do you think anthropology is impacted at Berkeley and need an extremely high gpa for acceptance?
@Education114 Are you applying for fall 2018…? I would suggest joining that thread. But in the meantime, if you’re curious about what is considered “competitive”, check this out: https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/infocenter/transfers-major
To everyone who made an account for Summer Sessions but is looking to change their status to fall transfer student: I just got off the phone with Cal Student Central and they said they are working on the issue, which is affecting about 100 people. They didn’t specify a date but they said we’ll be able to view financial aid once it’s done, and we don’t register for classes until July 10.
So I was invited to the Vice Chancellors Welcome, and the bridges transfer weekend, does it look like we’re allowed to go to both?
Hey, so im a a student at a UC (quarter system) and my proposed spring schedule is different than my actual spring schedule. I still have all my UC reciprocity requirements done and major pre-reqs… Anyone dealt with this? I already informed admissions with the update and am waiting for a response
@csssa13 I was wondering the exact same thing. I’m getting the vibe that the bridges thing is going to be a lot more personal, smaller, and wayyy more informative than the event on Friday. But at the same time, it’s weird how the two events overlap each other.
I don’t remember seeing any mention of the Friday event when reading through the bridges itinerary schedule…
is anyone having issue accepting the clipper card license? I did everything and deposit fund, but it still showing that its due instead of complete.
Okay so I just realized I may have made a mistake on my application. On my college of chemistry prerequisite form I filled out that I would be taking materials of engineering, but it’s not currently articulated for Berkeley. Will this look like I lied on my app? I figured they would check articulation agreements for CCC when viewing my app, so they would know it wouldn’t articulate. the reason I put it down was they would know I was at least taking a course comparable, if not articulated. Can anyone confirm if this is true?
I had this same issue and I actually just finalized my schedule last week so I did not have time to send over my actual spring quarter schedule. I just emailed my admissions officer after calling and speaking with the office directly. The woman I spoke to over the phone, though not my admissions officer, said it should not be an issue since it does not impact any of my Conditions of Admissions (GPA, major prerequisites, transferrable courses, etc.) but better to be safe by reaching out to your officer directly.
Hope this helps, @jostream77 !
