For those of you who have SIR’d and paid your deposit, is the “pay my deposit” button still there? I have a receipt. Definitely paid it a couple days ago.
Do we have an SLR (Statement of Legal Residence) due for UCB?? It’s not on my task list… Ugh
To those of you who have SIR’d and paid, how drastically has your portal changed? I find it concerning that the submit deposit button is still present on my dashboard. When I click it, my account balance is -$250 and it says I paid though…
@lexluther96 The portal is really slow, buggy and inconsistent. Admissions messaged me the other day telling me as much when I expressed concern over the status of my housing application (it took almost two weeks to get marked as “completed”)
Will I get some sort of an update when they determine the status of my SLR? If so where would I find said update? Thanks in advance :)!
@mightyMETA only the first phase of the housing application, right? I paid the fee and completed the first phase last week. Now I’m waiting for an offer…
Also, does your CalCentral dashboard not have the “pay deposit” button anymore?
@californiannnnnnnnnnnn Where did they ask you to submit an SLR? On CalCentral? That wasn’t requested from me on my task list
Yeah it was one of the required tasks on the “My Dashboard” section of CalCentral
Double check cause mine in the very least had a deadline of today

@lexluther96 Are you sure it’s not under any of your tasks? Every student has to submit it, otherwise you will be charged non-resident tuition

I don’t remember completing an SLR and also don’t have it as a task. I’m not that worried - you should really keep in mind that CalCentral is a buggy new system and clearly has had incomplete/incorrect information in the past. I submitted my SIR on May 11 and paid my deposit the same day and while my SIR task was marked as ‘received’, it has yet to be moved to completed and is now in overdue. I also have the wrong name (maiden) for bMail and under My Finances. I also sent in my h.s. transcript and AP scores weeks ago and they have not been marked as completed. Everything will start getting checked off this month, try not to stress too much.
@smrider29 Yes, my SIR task now says that it’s overdue even though I submitted it and paid my deposit. Underneath the due date, it says that it has been received. Also, I found the residency status under “holds” and “profile” in my academics, and the box that is supposed to correspond with it is blank. I’m glad to hear that I’m not the only one dealing with this. I’'m just stressed because I declined 10 other offers yesterday, including U-M, USC, UCLA, and Georgetown University. Ughughguhhg
@phil067 I know that I don’t have a task. I posted a picture on the UC Berkeley official transfer page on Facebook. 
All of my tasks have disappeared (they are all gone and it says “No Tasks”) and then reappeared twice today. I need to go find something to do besides refresh CalCentral.
@smrider29 If they haven’t reappeared, call admissions. And check your MAP portal. I paid and submitted my SIR (I have receipts and screenshots), but my MAP portals says I didn’t and I’m not in the system (I called admissions). They filed a case for me with my receipts and screenshots. I’m so upset. I didn’t do anything wrong. I even submitted everything before the deadlines
@lexluther96 I had the same problem with you. I even paid twice to check it be processed, but it did not work. Did you submit the summer session application before the decision day? If you did, that is why you keep seeing paying deposit option. I think you would better call and e-mail calcentral. It might not affect your decision since you have a receipt for paying SIR and this issue is a just malfunctioning of system,
