Okay so I’ve been following this thread since yesterday morning but here’s what I’ve determined.
I created a calnet account last night at around 9 and got a notification 30 min later to create an ID. I did so and first logged in through this address
https://bpr.cal net.berkeley.edu/account-manager/
This is brought me to a page where I could see my affiliation
Then I went back to my email and logged in through this address
https://cal central.berkeley.edu
And this is where you see notifications, new admit tours etc.
From what I’ve concluded, new admit tours means nothing since there is no definite correlation between those whom have it and those who do not. Plus even if there were, it is solely new admits for summer applicants not transfer fall applicants.
I don’t think the addresses have anything to do with it and even if they had EVERYONE who was checking their MAP rigorously all saw it go from 4-2- etc. Those who chimned in later could have not of seen this change.
3 people yesterday said they were admitted which was determined by the difference between calnet notifications but these same people ALL took summer classes at Berkeley in the past.
If any of you can’t find affiliation try signing into both links above because they do in fact take you to different places.
I think what would be helpful at this point is if someone who did not apply to uc Berkeley made a summer calnet account so we could determine the difference and put all the speculations to rest.
As of now some people so they saw 4 addresses and new admit tours while others didn’t see 4 addresses but did see new admit tours whil other people didn’t see either but their affiliation say presir. Their seems to be no consistency so we those who don’t see or have what others do don’t think you’re rejected it could very likely be a glitch!

There’s nothing left to do now but wait, possibly pray if you’re spiritual/religious/into that sort of thing, and just remember that no matter what, our achievements and success in college are valid regardless of whether we gain admission into Cal. Whichever university we all end up choosing, we should make the most of our time there and be proud to attend it! Good luck to us all! 
(As I was typing this, I realized that it’s very easy to give other people these positive affirmations, but it’s very hard to say it to yourself lol. I’m still just as scared and nervous)

Also those who can’t see new admit tours, do you mind posting an image to see what it looks like? It seems to be all of those who can’t see it had already applied to summer session weeks ago so this may be why since a majority of us who do see it, created it yesterday haha
By the way mine says Summer domestic visitor as well so this should make everyone who thinks they got rejected feel better since that entails that calnet account we created is solely associated with summer and nothing to do with whether we got accepted this fall or not.

These tricks won’t do anything. I made a UCLA student portal account and the only function it served me was in checking my acceptance while the admission portal crashed.
Be patient. By the end of today we will either be a UC Berkeley reject or admit.
Mine says Undergrad Non-Degree/NonFinAid above the summer domestic visitor. Can anybody confirm their affiliation says something different that presir?

@Orangered123 Ahh thank you! I’m just freaking out because you truly never know with Berkeley and I think that is why so many of us are grasping on to any little sign that is indicative of admission.

Nothing means anything until you have a notification saying you’re in. Stop over analyzing every little think or some of you might end up sorely disappointed. There are glitches every year and they mean nothing. No information or “hints” are pushed out prior to the formal announcement.
