Imagine if we all got in on this thread Haha. I wish all of you the best of luck. Even if I don’t get in it kinda makes me happy to think there will be several of you jumping around calling friends and family that all the hard work you’ve put in has paid off! For those of us who get rejected all we can do is keep our heads high, wherever we go is prob where we’re supposed to be
should we be checking our map portal more often than the cal central at this point?
STUDENT-TYPE-PRESIR
Where do you see account type not registered in the photo??
Refreshing MAP. We should follow @briank82’s words. Too many conflicts and confusing stuff. Many qualified people with different statuses and notifications. I’d put my money that none of it means anything at this point. Just wait it out and refresh map for the rest of the day.
@ucvalerieames You’ll get a notification via email to check your portal. Then you check your portal. Until then, you wait.
It could be a few hours or several, so try and relax, stop refreshing your screen, and take a deep breath.
Did anybody who got rejected or waitlisted at ucla get an email from them? I never did but I was waitlisted
@Uclatransfer11 I got waitlisted
That CalNet thing keeps telling me I have invalid credentials. Is this just me or is anyone else not able to login withtheir MAP stuff?
@Uclatransfer11 I was waitlisted and got an email after I opted in for the waitlist but nothing else
Did you write anything in the box or did you just hit the check mark to be waitlisted?
Lol it’s amazing how much this thread grew in less than a day.
Took one day to triple in size.
@Uclatransfer11 I wrote my grades for fall and winter along with classes that I’m taking. They also have an optional part where you can write whatever you think may strengthen your application
@Orangered123 Agree. The information is too inconsistent to mean anything.
Good luck everyone and no matter what happens today, we all did the best we could.
I hear they’re going to release decisions in batches all throughout today?
Well the final approach is here. Got rejected to UCLA but accepted to UCSD. Here’s to hoping for UCB despite the fact it’s probably going to be a no for me haha.
Good luck to you all!
Hey Guys! Sending Good Vibes to you all! It is extremely nostalgic for me as I was in your position one year ago. It was on a Friday as well. Good luck to everyone! For those that are fortunate enough to get in contact me and let me know if there are any questions you may have.
Batches. From what people have been told after calling the admissions office.
What time do the notifications usually start? When did you get yours last year?
