Hey guys. There’s a thread open on the UC Berkeley channel! We can use this one too. Has anyone finished their application?
Yo! I just finished my apps yesterday. I tagged Davis, but also applied to SB; not really having the highest hopes of getting into either. I qualified for the fee waiver, so I got 4 apps free, so I decided I’d also apply to UCLA and Berkeley, just as a Hail Mary. I have close to no chance of getting into those two, but hey, why not give it a go? The fact that I was even able to apply to any UC is amazing to me, considering what I came from.
My Stats-
-3.55 GPA
-4.00 major GPA
-History major,
-Will have ADT in History, and 2 other associate degrees I will finish at the same time
-IGETC certified
-A few ECs/Volunteer work, nothing special
-Spent 3 years working as a research assistant for UC Davis, though. Hope that helps my case
Anyone else feel like sharing?

Did anyone apply to UC Berkeley as a Film and Media studies major? If so, how did you complete your language requirements?
Those are two different majors.Film is one major, Media Studies another. I was in MS and just did IGETC. That’s all you need for film, too.
