I’m sure we still have a chance. Please realize that acceptances are supposed to come in throughout the whole month of May. Just because some of us were not notified on the first day possible does not meant that we will be rejected.
Ugh, I’m so discouraged now… Although it is rather strange that nobody on CC of all places has been accepted to L&S as of yet , considering it’s CC and L&S is the largest college… T-T
Owait, just realized, all of the retweets are from TRANSFER applicants. LOL. Seems like first year L&S waitlists are still yet to be released.
@Alkaseltza LOL HOW DID YOU FIGURE IT OUT???
omg bless!! @Alkaseltza ^:)^ I was freaking out over what @kaanddd said
@imvegetarian2016 lmao not sure if you’re being sarcastic but if not, it’s on the acceptance letter- they wrote that they reviewed ~19,000 transfer applications, etc.
If sarcastic, I just meant to point it out to people who are otherwise irrationally discouraged by thinking waitlist acceptances are already out for L&S.
@Alkaseltza LOL I’m sorry if it came off that way, but I was’t being sarcastic I was genuinely surprised HAHHAHAHAH
Dear people,
I am truly sorry for the inconvinience. Thanks for telling that those acceptences are for transfer students.
@kaanddd LOL just some brief cardiac arrest and hysteria, all’s good
Quick question, I know that we’re guaranteed housing if we’re accepted, but do they give us the same priority as the people who turned in their housing app by May 1?
@imvegetarian2016 probably not, seeing as how we can only select one type of housing preference (“any room, any location” as stated on the waitlist FAQ) as a requirement for SIRing from waitlist
On the portal when I click the view update option (from March 24, 2016) at the very bottom it says Application Decisions FAQ and when I click that it opens up to Spring Admission Status Information. Does anyone else have the same thing on their portal?
@rosewood yea its the same for me too
mine doesn’t. It still opens to the FAQ.
@rosewood mine too… what does this mean???
very weird, I wouldn’t think anything of it but the fact that its different for other people is interesting
yeah i’ll just wait and see what happens before i jump to conclusions… but i find it extremely weird too
A friend of mine also has the spring admit faq and she says on the page it says “Understanding our ability to accept less than a quarter of the 82,500+ freshmen applications and less than a third of the 18,500+ transfer applications, you should regard your admission to the spring term with pride. We hope you understand that your deferred admission is not a remark on your academic or personal performance but rather a reflection of the size and rigor of our applicant pool. Spring and fall admits are different in only enrollment start date and not in benefits, status or potential.” So maybe that means you guys are in for the spring semester
ugh
@wayoutthere What does yours open up to?
