UC Berkeley - Class of 2020 Waitlist

gpa- cumulative 4.5, Reading-670, Math-590, Writing-640, he sent in the supplemental essay about why Berkeley would be a good fit. Honestly I have no idea what he wrote. He was just happy when he was wait listed, this was his reach school. He was also wait listed at Reed, rejected UCLA, in at UCSD,UCI, and UCR. He had SIR to Whitman College last month- withdrew last night, lost 300 bucks BUT will save 45 grand!! woo hoo

@wardgrl33 what major did he get in for? and also how is he going to save 45 grand, did he get financial aid at UCB?

@catswin oh the other school he was going to attend was BIG MONEY BUCKs! he didnt get any UC money, major environmental policy. I guess i shouldnt have said saved -since we will still be paying. I should have prefaced that the other school was twice the amount and ten some, plus travel expenses.

so can we safely assume that the next wave will be out tomorrow?

Has anyone heard back yet? Slash when do you think decisions will come out?

@imvegetarian2016 I called admissions today and they were very nonspecific about the releasing of waves and I sort of point blank asked that question and I was still given an ambiguous answer.

why is it so hard to get a specific answer? We’re just children worried about our future. It shouldn’t be this complicated. :((

My FAQ changed again and this time it says admissions FAQ for fall??

@Nelumbolutea what’s your stats?

@Nelumbolutea my FAQ is now for fall as well instead of waitlist FAQ???

mine too! @Nelumbolutea

jesus what does this mean

Do the questions change?

yes…there are questions and answers related to attending in the fall???

Let’s not get too excited this just happened with spring admissions and it was a “glitch” so… congrats if this is actually whats going on but just be wary.

yeah it talks about submitting your letter of intent, transcipt and test score deadlines, deferring admission, housing.

mine hasn’t changed. Again. Still waitlist FAQ (depressed)
