No eecs admits?
Any out of state kids yet?
Hopefully OOS comes out soon Seems like only in-states so far.
For those accepted - were your options FPF, Global Edge or January start like kornido?
So no EECS people got in yet? Has anyone in the school of Engineering gotten in?
Isnt being given only fpf/global edge/january options bad?
Cause you know, you cant start a normal fall semester?
My situation and experience are the same as @kornido except that my major is physics (L&S). I first saw people on this thread posting about their acceptances today so I went to check my portal and saw that I got accepted; the email came in a bit later. Don’t lose hope to those of you still waiting; they are most likely gonna do several waves of admits. I do have a question about the “3 paths” tho, what does that mean? Do regular admits get the same thing? Which option is better? Does it actually mean spring admit?
@tahahussein I know that there was civil engineering admits that is all I have heard.
accepted EECS, OOS
My daughter as well no updates…she is waitlisted in EECS
Does anyone know where to SIR? I’m on CalCentral but I don’t know where to click to SIR.
Oh well. No Berkeley for me. I’ll go fill out my roommate form for the school that has my deposit. Weirdly sad, but somehow not really bothered at all.
Congrats to all who got in and keep the faith to the rest of you!
@duster stats?
@Back2school36 what major?
@aleckan11 It appears as though no OOS students have been accepted today. Don’t worry though, there’s more waves to come!
to all of those accepted, where does it say we have to send in our SIR by? And if you were accepted to college of letters and sciences, where does it say which major you got into?
also, for FPF, you get to live on campus and get all the advantages of being a Berkeley student, but you just take classes somewhere else. Is that a correct summary or am I missing something
I called earlier asking when we’d find out. The admissions rep said that they are still waiting for the midnight deadline to pass for people who were accepted the first time around before they can get to the waitlisted people. Because May 1st was the deadline and it fell on a Sunday, they were given an extra day to reply. I said, it looks like people are getting in from what I’m finding online. He said that engineering people were notified but that was a special case and the rest will hear by May 10, at the latest. I’m confused that what I’m seeing online does not correspond at all to what I was told when I called admissions.
How many admission waves are there typically? Does anyone know when the next wave will be?
