Twice my kids have gotten the Regents interview invite on Feb. 12 (in the past). So it could easily come on Monday or Tuesday too. So don’t sweat it if you don’t get anything today (unless lots of other folks do).
Does anyone know when decisions have come out in the past? I know they say “on or before March 29th” but is it usually one release date or rolling or what?
I’m guessing it’ll be March 23rd at 4pm PST because it usually comes out on a Friday so they don’t get a million phone calls
@dewrrrett Thank you for the post. This is very helpful. You mentioned 1/3 invites will get the regents by the end. do you know how many early acceptance letter they will send, 1% or 2% of the total applicants? and within the early acceptances, how many will receive invites for interview?

This is just making me think that I going to get rejected. I don’t want to worry about getting an acceptance right now when that most likely is not going to happen.

I also don’t know why I’m waiting today? My D even’t didn’t get the USC invite, which is 1,250 out of 39,000 applicants by 12/1, about 3%, while I heard UC invites is 1.5%-2%. :((

True. I have a 4.67 gpa but 30 act /1310 SAT environmental science major in CNR and I keep checking but I know it’s very unlikely.
@Laketahoe79, your numbers are not accurate. They actually will offer about 12%-13% early admissions possibly today. They accept about 15,000 kids total, and 2,000 or so will hear today. So the odds are slightly better than USC!!

I don’t think that getting the Regent’s invite is necessarily easier than the USC invite, regardless of the statistics. I got the USC invite, but I am not expecting the Cal invite at all because of how much more competitive the students applying to Berkeley are.
