They used to accept a fair number of WL apps. In 2019-2020 it was about 1/3 chance, but it’s gone done since the pandemic. Most recent data from CDS says they admitted less than 1% of apps last year.

rejected lolz i’ve gotten into decent schools but i’m waitlisted at ucsd uci ucd ucsc so :skull: my uc decisions have been very rough but it is time to move on

Last year acceptance from waitlist was around 5 %, but historically it is between 30 - 40%. These numbers are overall acceptance from waitlist
