I was under the assumption they did read essays? I must be wrong, not sure what to do with being waitlisted.

No they are updating it, the message that means rejection should be “unauthorized” rather than unaviliable.

I think Davis has a pretty high waitlist acceptance rate. I think you’ll get in eventually. But maybe you’re just cal material

i thought so too but apparently they don’t which is really unfortunate :-/ but cal for sure does so that’s how I’m coping with the waitlist decision ;w;

got accepted to davis for cs as TAG. I’m pretty sure they will let a lot of people off the waitlist bc many TAG applicants don’t commit (to my knowledge)
