UIUC is a great school. You could just go for MBA later, unless that is redundant.

It also doesn’t mean you can’t apply to Haas or UCLA. It may mean more courses if you end up staying at UIUC, but people do get in all the time who aren’t from CCC. It doesn’t hurt to try. It just may slow your progress a bit at UIUC.

@k4201505 uiuc is just a huge party school and I don’t feel too comfortable in this environment. also, I have two younger sisters and me being out of state (flight tickets, tuition, etc) just adds up to be a lot for my parents and I really dont want to put too much of a burden on them especially since only my mom is working.
@lindyk8 thanks for your help! I think I will just get all the pre-reqs done at uiuc these next two years and then I’ll just apply. I also want to try to take more classes to complete berkeley’s 7 breadth reqs.

“The Haas Undergraduate Program rarely admits transfer students from 4-year institutions. Transfer admissions priority is given to students who are US citizens, California residents, and are transferring from a California community college. This is according to California’s Master Plan for Higher Education, the University of California Office of the President and the UC Berkeley faculty.”
