<p>Houses here are not cheap; it may take a law degree from the prestigious Michigan law school to afford one. ;) Oh yea, I walk everywhere in DC. That's definitely one of the main reasons I love it here and dislike Los Angeles. There's a very high concentration of highly educated people. I feel like I've met more of them within a month than I did in 6 years in LA.</p>
<p>I thought Michigan's Jack Kent Cooke Foundation grant didn't relate to scholarship money, but rather the advising/counseling/information gap.</p>
<p>Sam Lee, DC is a very walkable city. I didn't have a car when I was living there (I used the Zipcar service if I needed to leave the district.) The Northwest Quad is definitely a hip (and expensive) neighborhood.</p>
