Hi Everyone!

I thought I would make this thread for future transfer applicants who are applying to UC Berkeley's College of Natural Resources. Seeing how our applications are evaluated a bit different from the College of L&S. Please post your decision stats here! Thank you and Good luck!

Also looking at last years UC Berkeley transfer decision thread, I saw some individuals received an email from their department chair about a week before decisions came out. The email congratulated them on their accpentance to the College of Natural Resources. So if this is the case for you please indicate it on your stats! :)

Hi @expoUC13

I have applied to Cal as a Society & Environment Major…the wait until the 26th is killing me! My GPA is not that great at 3.6, however my statements were really strong and I have overcome a lot the last few years. I also have an upper management/leadership position in a company for the last 6 years. My GPA is low but I have a lot to offer so hopefully Berkeley feels the same :)

Hi @Hastilicious!!

That sounds great and I would say your for sure a strong applicant. I feel as if CAL truly reviews everything in your application and not just your GPA so you should feel confident.

I applied for Environmental Economics and Policy (EEP) and I have a 3.52. Even though that’s considerably low for CAL I feel I too have a lot to offer. Hopefully we both get in!! Hurry up and let it be Friday already :D
