@flaminhaute Does your calnet show the groups?
His account says Pre SIR.
I am talking in first person in regards to questions I have for his account rather than third person. It makes it easier to type out and less confusing for those who might be willing to answer my question.
Sorry for the confusion
My addresses went 2-4-2
No “new admit tours”
no “SIR deposit”
yes alumni email
CalGroups: I have 4
Affiliation: STUDENT-TYPE-NOT REGISTERED
@iStudy yes
@doglover95 no you’re fine, my poor reading comprehension becomes even worse as the night wears on
where do you find “account not registered” or “preSIR”?
@farquad24 https://bpr.cal net.berkeley.edu/account-manager/
@Dannydanny congratulation… I am happy for you…
which one will you pick UCLA or UCB (I am pretty sure UCB will also accept you)…
sorry to keep asking, but is there a difference between pre-SIR or student-type-not-registered in terms of admissions?
@getoutmeswamp I’m a bcc student too. Woot Woot
@farquad24 doesn’t seem to be - my status has changed from pre-SIR to student type not registered before. I do have the $250 SIR payment on my finances tab though
It’s all just speculation. But some people believe that if you have “Pre-SIR” you may have been admitted. But no one can know this for sure
do you guys know if anyone in the past were admitted after seeing the pre-SIR or the $250 SIR payment
They discovered on previous threads last year that when you register you originally have Pre-Sir afterwards within a day or less it turns to NOT-REGISTERED, as for the deposit for SIR, I asked a transfer from last year and they said not to put too much on it.
@flaminhaute I have taken classes at Cal before (earned 3 units with my internship), signed up for summer session classes (cuz I like to live on the edge), and don’t have the SIR payment option tear
@Sanla124 Hopefully it means nothing, because after a rejection from UCLA I can’t take one from Berkeley too, or maybe ours hasn’t been uploaded yet and thats why, or its a glitch in the system.
@Sanla124 maybe you got a waiver!
I just talked to my friend who goes to UCLA and previously took summer classes at Berkeley. She was able to make a bconnected email so I don’t think that means anything.
Holy crap! I’ve been trying to catch up for the last 10 min and I’m still behind
Do UCB look at your transcript or the Major Prerequisites form?
