Not to further the conspiracy, but has anyone who sees the SIR deposit in their account contacted Berkeley about it? Because if it actually doesn’t mean anything, and people who were rejected are getting asked to pay a $250 deposit for Fall tuition, that’s a serious bug that they need to fix.

idk about berkeley, but appealing at UCLA you are a completely seperate category
^^ I agree with @GoldenState1 Better avoid propagating more mass hysteria, tomorrow we’ll know for sure. I will, however, write a few comments that may be useful for those transferring in 2019 after all the decisions are out. I should be worrying about NOT getting rescinded in case I’m admitted since I still have 3 difficult exams left (Data Structures and Discrete Math).
