<p>I am applying as a transfer student. Which college do you think is better for Computer Science: UC Berkeley or CCNY? Another other recommendations on other colleges in USA where I can get in easily as a transfer student for Computer Science? I'll be an undergraduate transfer student, applying for sometime next year (2014). I would like to work as a Software Engineer after I graduate.</p>

<p>State of residency? Cost constraints?</p>
<p>If you are a California resident, Berkeley is the obvious choice, but you need safeties among other schools (e.g. other UCs and CSUs).</p>
<p>If you are a New York resident, consider Stony Brook University for CS. Berkeley financial aid won’t cover the $23,000 per year additional out of state tuition.</p>
<p>If you can afford Berkeley it is not even close – UC Berkeley is the much better choice. There are tons of other schools that have Computer Science so I’m not quite sure how you came up with two schools that have such different attributes.</p>
