<p>@AG3000 Sorry to have come across that way. That wasn’t the intent. My answer was to Ptom65’s question on what would happen with UCB. My only point was that, College Admissions seems to be a crapshoot and one needs luck (beyond the basic qualifications) to get in first and then get a scholarship and no one on CC seems to have a magic formula to predict what would happen.</p>

<p>Sorry to hear you were wait listed at UCLA. I bet you have about the same or better scores as either of our kids who got in UCLA. Who know why that was?</p>

<p>AG3000, Sorry to hear that you are waitlisted from LA. Getting Regents from Davis was a major achievement already. I am sure you will do well no matter where you go. My daughter get accepted into UCB without scholarship. Now is her decision time, UCB, UCLA, UCSD and UCD (Regents). Her major in UCD is Biomedical engineering, which is a very hot area, all the rest are in Biology. She want to go to medical school later. Any suggestions??</p>
