@allebasi4 thanks! I reviewed my contract and i pretty much will be find if I drop that class. im probably gonna call just in case but i was wondering, is that bio class part of your prereqs or is it just a ge?
@handegg Good luck! It’s actually a pre-req, but apparently it’s just recommended from what I can tell. The lady yesterday said it wouldn’t be a problem but I’m an anxious person so I’ll probably call again today haha.
@handegg I think the main thing they consider is if your major is selective (if it is they’re more strict about prereqs) and if it makes you fall beneath units (90 quarter).
@allebasi4 I called and the guy on the phone said it was no problem since it did not violate any of the conditions stated in my contract even though it is a pre-req. Either way, I’m taking it over the summer. Thanks for the reassurance
@handegg Great! Btw, is the contract they’re talking about the conditions of admission? I think I need to just bite the bullet and withdraw from my class now, considering I’m not sure I can pass and I don’t want to chance it.
@allebasi4 I’m pretty sure they were talking about the conditions of admission. For me, I applied with TAG as well so I think I need to fulfill those requirements but they’re practically the same as the ones listed on the conditions of admission. If I were you, I would still call them because I not sure about your situation
Hello Everyone!
I just a general question for the newly admitted students. First off: Congratulations!
Okay, so on the portal underneath the academic tab, you can see the transferable courses and the GPA. Is it safe to assume this is the GPA calculated for all of the UC’s and the one used for other campus admissions?
Please and thank you and again Congrats to future Aggies!
does anyone know how we can find out the prices for the different apartment housing options for on campus student housing? I cannot find it anywhere!

@johnfuentesa I’d say it’s a pretty safe assumption to make!
Hey, guys!
Quick question about awards… besides loans, did you receive any scholarships or even the Blue and Gold / Middle-Class special scholarships?
I got blue and gold @Pheles
I got the University Grant and University Middle Income Grant @Pheles
Did any of you guys get waitlisted for the “Transfer Experience” program?
I also got waitlisted for the Transfer Experience program. I wonder how many people get this invitation? I really hope I’m able to go.
What’s the Transfer Experience program?
was just about to sign up for orientation and one of the questions asked if I plan on living in residence halls… Are those the same as SHA housing?
@doihaveashot2016 I’ll send you a screenshot of the email they sent me through IG explaining the transfer experience event. It’s Brenda btw lol
@undecided61 it’s so weird tho because the spots filled up so fast!
