“Managerial Economics really is UC Davis’ version of a business major. A Managerial Economics student concentrates on applying economics principles to problems in management production and fina…ncial, marketing, policy, investments and environmental and resource issues. The Managerial Economics major focuses strongly on applied economics, institutional structures and convention, in addition to placing a heavy emphasis on applied mathematics and statistics.”
I think to some extent, ManEcon=Biz econ with a prime on agricultural science since one must take lots of Preparatory Subjects in order to graduate…

Question: If you get rejected will it show in the myadmissions website too? Because I need to know so that I can study for my midterm already. gee. lol

Congrats to all accepted applicants! Way to go!

I spoke to one admissions rep and she said that it would be finished by the 25th for davis and then I talked to another one and she said sometime in the next few weeks. So hopefully everyone will hear back by the 25th! good luck!

So i was accepted, but i did drop a class, that is non major/non requirement, and all of my required classes will still be completed, do you guys think they will still admit me? UCR and UCI said dropping the class would be fine, so i would assume UCD would be the same way, though they seem a bit more strict, anyone have experience with this?

I checked the second I woke up today (on my iPhone) and was immediately greeted by that stupid youtube video with a 5 minute still of a congratulations photograph.

^ I am guessing more applicants due to the transition from paper to online TAG application? then again all the other TAG schools started releasing decisions beforehand.

congrats everybody! you guys should see the UCLA discussion thread…everyone is going crazy! but i doubt UCLA is releasing decisions today. at least we heard from Davis :)

& For people who can’t login to check their financial aid, try using IE? I know it’s an ancient browser, but it’s the only one that’ll work for me to log onto Davis’s site at all.

does anybody have on idea on how many have already been rejected? or is the pool still totally full, ie more than half will not get in when decisions get sent out? i’m curious for davis as well as the other uc’s. as far as i know la and berkeley deal everything out at the hand altogether but is that the case with the other schools?
