Accepted!
GPA: 3.6, with TAG.
Major: Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior.
Pending: UCSD, UCM.
I did not compete all of my prereqs at my CC. I included in my application that I am planning on finishing the bio series at Davis over the summer, and apparently that’s wasn’t a problem.

Also, can’t access my financial aid package either. Didn’t get the early email… seems like it’ll just take time…

Yes, I am electrical engineering, and I got in today. To any EEs on the waitlist: I may be giving you my spot, depending upon the financial aid package I get offered. So have some hope!

So you’re gonna be taking 2B/2C over the summer? Thats an awesome idea. I still haven’t taken Bio 2B/2C or the second semester of Ochem (Chem 118 B/C) and they accepted me (no tag)

Then again, I participated in the Biological Science Dean’s internship earlier this year and I got to meet him. I wonder if he had any influence on my admission…

My major was BS Genetics and I have not done O-chem, physics and the calc II even though I declared that I am planning to take calc II during the summer. I am done with my english, bio, and gen chem requirements. DO you think I have a chance?

I have a 4.0 GPA and will have 64 units at the end of this semester. Among all the UC’s I applied to (UCB, UCLA, and UCSD), my chances for Davis is higher because O-chem is not required but recommended.

@ shellbelltaylor - I’m definitely considering Davis (although I’m leaning toward staying in Southern California). I like the fact that Davis offers different emphases for chemistry and not just chemistry in general. Do you know if we can later choose the emphasis once we finish our prereq? Thanks!

I’m pretty sure we can but I haven’t really looked into it yet, Davis was my top (realistic) choice over UCSB and UCSD but I am holding out for la haha

History Major, 3.0 GPA with TAG and IGETC will be completed by the end of spring (64 units). My decision is still pending, but with TAG, am I absolutely guaranteed admission?

UCLA
“one year of biology with lab for the major
one year of calculus
one year of general chemistry with lab for the major
one semester in organic chemistry with lab”

LA and berk are out of reach… You have a great shot at SD
