<p>I just got a letter of congratulations for admission into the UC Davis College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, when I applied as undecided and definitely do not want to do anything to do with natural sciences, if anything, I want to study a social science like history or political science. Is this something I should be worried about or not?</p>

<p>I applied as Undeclared/Exploratory, but what I want to know is why I got thrown into the Agricultural and Environmental Sciences College, when I applied as undecided. I put down no alternate major. I am no sure what I actually want to do yet, but I know for a fact I do not want to major in any type of natural science.</p>

<p>Don’t worry about it. You can switch majors. Especially since you are undeclared.
I’m undeclared social sciences right now… letters and science… and I want to switch to bio… no worries, easy easy, u just go in and fill some paperwork n stuff.</p>

<p>I think winter is earliest… but… theres no hurry… it makes like NO DIFFERENCE at all in the beginning. I’m not declaring til jr year… -.-</p>
<p>Ok, but my biggest concern was that being in the College of Agricultural and Natural Sciences would only allow me to pursue those types of majors, which I’m assuming does not happen? And even so, if you change majors, do you change colleges or what?</p>
<p>Yes, if you switch into a major from a different college, you will transfer to that new college.</p>
