It’s good, it means that you’re either admitted or waitlisted. With your stats, you’re almost guaranteed to be accepted (as long as you finished all your prereqs).

yup! i did! I also finished more beyond my pre-reqs.
yay!

Nice to know I got in ( well sort-of)
Thanks!!!

@cinnabon1234 Thanks for the credit but really, thank you for contacting the school and Ms. Sun to further verify this find! I’m so relieved but still nervous. I definitely imagined Davis admissions finding this thread and changing the Appeals page. D:

Edit: typo

Yea you better be ashamed of yourself nerissa. If I get waitlisted I’m blaming you for taking my spot.

@ghiblijiang Hahaha. Best. Logic. Ever.

Leave it to CC’ers to figure out a way to get admissions result before the school even releases anything. lol

I am applying as a microbio major with a 3.9 and no tag dive I used it for my UCSD app. I am receiving the appeals form so who knows… I hope everyone who can’t access the form are getting in, best of luck to you all!

@ParkRanger: Have you completed all the prereqs for your major? A 3.9 GPA getting an appeal form doesn’t really sound… right. .__.

@ParkRanger Is your gpa 3.87 or 3.9? You mentioned in other threads that your GPA was a 3.87.

^lolol i doubt that’s gonna make any difference.

ParkRanger, I just noticed in another one of your posts that you won’t be completing Calc II or the entire Physics series. Bio is super impacted at Davis and they require most (if not all) prereqs to be completed. Not having 3 quarters of Physics and a basic Calc class could be pretty bad. That could explain why you’re getting the appeals form.

I know that it probably doesn’t make any difference, but it’s still weird to round your own GPA up haha.

If I’m being technical it is actually a 3.882 I am typing on my phone so it just seems easier to say 3.9. But the prerequisites could definitely be a major part of it, again best of luck to you guys

Thanks haha and congrats on SD!

I get the sorry message also! I’m a bio major with a 3.67 and all prereqs complete by spring!

@parkranger I believe the main reason you’re getting the appeal form is your missing major pre-requisite courses.

So who isn’t getting the “Sorry, only non-selected applicants can appeal their decision.” message?

(I’m receiving it as a Evolution, Ecology & Biodiversity major with a 4.0 GPA).

where do we view the appeal page? 0.o can’t find it
