<p>I am looking to apply to the UC Davis department of Electrical Engineering.</p>
<p>For my school the average GPA is a 4.08 (weighted) will this GPA be higher for engineering students?</p>
<p>FYI my GPA is a 4.25...</p>

<p>I believe it is capped, I’m not sure though.</p>
<p>But basically the main thing I was asking was if the Electrical Engineering Department would have higher admission standards than the average. </p>
<p>I have always heard that in general the engineering departments are harder to get into for any college.</p>
