@penguinluver I gave up studying - writing, too. Doing some reading for fun instead. Anything that needs much concentration is going to have to wait.
I really hope they don’t somehow postpone the date…so far theres only that one website where it says april 17…i wonder why it only says “late april” on the portal when we log in rather than being more specific and saying APRIL 17

@2015transfer They can use the same message every year that way? UCD always posts results around April 16 - 20, depending on which date falls on the Friday before Picnic Day.

@2015transfer they probably wait to see how many applicants they get before setting a specific date?? That’s my guess anyway
My family has been getting many emails from UCD lately for Picnic Day events (so many alumni) - which gets me excited when I see “UC Davis” on the address. And then…oh, well…just another invite to Saturday’s pancake breakfast.

@DavisCowsRule how is the gym or other workout activities? Is it pretty easy to get some exercise in between classes? I read something about fitness classes also but didn’t seem like there were too many available… Sorry if it’s not your thing or your sick if a million questions haha- I’m just distracting myself

@statrans UC Davis has the ARC, which is a huge gymnasium and fitness center (often used for campus events like graduation ceremonies). Its facilities are free for UCD students and employees. It can get crowded, but if you come on off hours, it isn’t too bad. Across the street is the Rec Pool. There are playing fields throughout the campus for the IM sports, tennis courts, water polo pool (and team), and Hickey Gym & Toomey Field for various other sports (the older venues, before the ARC and the new stadium were built). There are miles of running paths - and the campus has an equestrian center and team. There is even an ice skating team, but they have to go to Vacaville to work out at the rink there.
What time tomorrow are decisions posted? Starting midnight?
@atifmalik I’m planning on becoming a dentist!! But I’m open to other medical-related job suggestions if they interest me.

@DavisCowsRule Thanks for the Picnic Day agenda! I was thinking it would come in handy, but then I realized that i’ll probably spend most of the day in my friends frat partying lol. That is, if I get in. If I don’t get in I probably won’t go to Picnic Day because i’ll be bitter for like a week
