Help Is there a thread somewhere with info on housing for transfers? Son trying to decide UCD vs UCSB vs UCSC … On campus guaranteed apartments for transfers only, for both years, preferred . Psych major.
@wecandothis when I went on a tour at UCSC they said transfer housing is garunteed, but I don’t have a link or website to show that
Thanks- guess we can always look on school websites for general info - but I’m looking for the inside info…going to be hard for us to visit Davis and Santa Cruz at this point- he’s been before but didn’t look at that specifically . Might have to try to make the transfer “decision days” in May.

So this is my info:

So I applied for TAG in fall and got it approved, and so I was guaranteed an admission into UC Davis. I had put down on my application that I would take Atomic Physics, a 2 unit physics class in the spring of 2016. But the class got cancelled since there were not enough students enrolled in it. So when i filled out my TAU I took out atomic physics from my spring 16 coursework and gave an explanation as why I couldn’t take it. I also explained how most community colleges nearby did not offer it, and the few that did offer it had the course at time that conflicted with my other classes. So after I submitted my TAU, I never heard back from UC Davis. But yesterday when I saw my admission decision it said wait listed. How can I be wait listed if I have the TAG? I will have every class on assist completed by the end of this spring semester except for Physics 4D, atomic physics. What should I do? Could UCD have made a mistake??
Do any of you know when we can get into our school email addresses? There are some useful Facebook groups I really want to join that require you enter your school email.
@kulvirjandir I think Davis is getting very picky about prereqs. I missed only 1 prereq and was waitlisted.
@cyan96 I think they are too. I missed two pre reqs but they weren’t offered at my school so I don’t think they counted them against me. Good luck!

@kulvirjandir I think you should call Davis and make sure your TAG offer still stands. I mean I believe it is possible to get waitlisted in the regular application but still be accepted in TAG. So just call and see whats going on. They probably made a mistake, its not your fault you couldnt get that one class done
@napapapa if you go to the admissions portal and sign in, they offer instructions there

I dont think so because my GPA only 3.17, I missing like 2 prereq class they still give me offer. My major is Economic. It also happend to my friends too. UCSC rejected me though
