I’m sure they will let everyone know about the event, but not everyone will be chauffeured and flown out to the campus, free of charge.
@UCLAFF So was the email just to RSVP to Decision Day or an email offering transportation to Decision Day?
It is an email that offers you transportation to the campus FOR Decision Day. Only a select few get it, and from what I remembered, they had three airport sites you could pick from; LAX being one of them. They also provided ground transportation from the Sacramento International Airport to the campus, and provided food for you within your preferences (I am vegan, and they had that as an option). It was really nice.
It seems to me that yesterday was the day to get the invitation, but who knows maybe they will roll out more.
I managed to find my email from a few years back, and it reads:
"As one of our most promising admitted students, I invite you to travel with us to the UC Davis campus to participate in Decision UC Davis. Your free trip includes your Decision UC Davis registration and chaperoned round-trip transportation between your departure point and the campus:
UC Davis Transfer Experience
This is a great opportunity to get to know us before submitting your Statement of Intent (SIR) at UC Davis. You will have an opportunity to explore the campus, connect with our campus communities and meet other admitted students from across the state.
This offer is by invitation only and additional guests, including parents, cannot be accommodated. A limited number of spaces are available, so don’t delay!"
I didn’t get an offer to be flown to Davis but I did get this.
"Welcome to the University of California, Davis, and congratulations on your admission! I invite you and your family to a free meet-and-greet celebration that we will be hosting in your area.
Sign up for the event now!
Come share some food in a relaxed setting as you learn more about UC Davis and start getting to know your fellow Aggies. We look forward to meeting you and answering your questions!
Warm regards,"
I’m in Los Angeles BTW.

Does anyone know if the GPA requirement part of the conditions is towards all UC-transferable classes or spring quarter? Mine says I need a 3.2.
I asked my UCD rep for my CC about it, this was her response:
Good morning napapapa,
Congratulations on your admission to UC Davis! We are strict with our conditions of admissions, so please do the best that you can! We will not automatically rescind admission if your spring GPA falls below a 3.2, however, we will re-evaluate the situation to ensure you are still meeting your conditions of admissions. Hope this helps. Best of luck with the remainder of your spring semester!
Best,
rep
Has anyone else checked their course credit summary on the website? I just looked at it and there’s a small mistake, they put that this semester I’m taking Math 108 AND Math 108H at my college (the honors version of that class). Now, I am taking the honors version of that class, but obviously I’m not enrolled in both the honors and regular version. That would be impossible.
And the regular Math 108 class listed on there says non-transferrable on top of that (it’s a transferable-level course) but the 108H one says transferable. Should I call and ask about the mistake? Who should I call?
Edit: Or, on second thought, would an email be better?
Yeah, there seems to be a lot of people who found mistakes on their course credit summary. I submitted a change a week ago and am still waiting to hear back. They have listed courses that I removed/changed during TAU. It’s really annoying. Thankfully they are classes that don’t count towards my major or transferrable at all.
There should be a box that says “Please make sure your application and coursework has been updated and reflects the most current information.”
Click that and the first choice should be “Coursework and Grades.”
There you should be able to submit changes and there is a box to explain what happened.
I called admissions and they said they couldn’t tell me anything. He said I’d have to wait until my admissions advisor checked it and got back to me. I submitted the change on the 23rd so it’s been a week. ugh
I don’t have issues with them listing classes i’m not taking, but under the list of schools I need to send UCD transcripts for, they list a couple of the schools I go to twice. I’m sure it’s not a big deal, but it’s just annoying that it doesn’t reflect exactly what I put on my TAU and application.
I just declined my admission offer. Good luck to everybody on the wait list - hang in there!
Congratulations again, @boxandwhiskers !
@goldencub Thanks! Although this semester is kind of in jeopardy as I have to have emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder, I think I can wing it and be able to go to Davis.
Hi guys, I have a question about whether or not you think I might be rescinded. I was accepted to Davis and I discovered a couple of mistakes on my reported courses on Friday. I immediately updated what I could and contacted Davis, but of course, it was after hours and the weekend so I have been panicking all weekend. Basically, when I filled out my UC app, I didn’t have one of my college transcripts from 10 years ago because I had recently moved and couldn’t find it so I had to go by memory. I know it was a dumb idea, but I felt like I had no other options (my college plans had recently changed and the UC deadline was fast approaching). I finally found the transcript on Friday and it turns out one course I reported as an A was actually an A- and one I reported as an A was actually a B+! That will bring my GPA down from a 3.2 to a 3.1 (I did not TAG). Also, I found that I did not report a W or an F (both of which I retook and passed later). I know this is really bad and I’ve been reading comments all weekend and stressing myself out. The comments range from “you’re screwed” to “you’ll be OK”. None of this was done maliciously. I plan on calling Davis tomorrow and speaking to a transfer counselor at my school on Tuesday, I am just looking for some insight on what you guys think might happen. I have already SIR’d, signed up for orientation and booked flights for Decision Day. :’(
@beargarden13 I really hope the best for you. No one here can say for sure, so dont stress too much. Get in contact and verify with admissions. I can understand your anxiety. The conditions list shoes that information must be correct, but again, make sure you prepare a good explanation.
Anyone else get a phone call from UC Davis to congratulate you?
That is so cool! No I didn’t, but I got an envelope. Did you sir?
I got an envelope last night
@beargarden13 Are those courses transferable to UC Davis?
Officially declining my admission today, good luck to those on the wait list!
