While Davis might have an occasional cow smell it ALSO has a cow with a hole in its stomach and you can stick your hand in on Picnic Day!

WooHoo.

When my husband went to Davis the chancellor was Dr. Meyer and he always, ALWAYS won the cow milking contest on the Quad during the week that led up the Picnic Day.
He was such a great guy.

The Davis town mascot is Hamburger Patty a…you guessed it…cow.

haha collegemom16 ur funny. but really im gonna be the better person and stop this squabble because i am superior to you. anyway, ive heard rumors about davis smelling bad but im gonna check it out for myself before i say anything else which may offend someone enough to cause them to poop themselves with fury.

wow how long did it take you to come up with that comeback? its so good it doesnt even make sense. but then again you are from uc davis so the fumes from the cow poop are probably getting to your head. anywho…i really have nothing against davis (im actually considering going there) but i just keep posting to see how long you would continue this and you have proved to me that you have no life.

T.T
I feel like this thread has gone quite off topic…
I think the conclusion is that the smell is up to the person, though overall, it isn’t that bad.

I used to live in Davis (and going back there for college :D), and I don’t recall it ever smelling bad.

I call on the campus regularly, and it does have a distinctive odor. It’s a great
school academically. Would be wildly more popular if it wasn’t in Davis. But
there are a lot worse places.
