UC Davis TAG - HELP?!

Hi guys, I’ve always lurked around the community here for a while, and I’ve found nothing but helpful insights from y’all, so I thought I’d seek help this time around on some questions I have about the UC Davis TAG (more for an ease of mind, really). Well, here’s the deal: I’m tripping hard right now about the possibility of my acceptance being jeopardized from UC Davis, though I have fulfilled all requirements and agreements.

My TAG from Davis was approved this November, and all information I have put on there are accurate, but I noticed YESTERDAY (as I mindlessly checked through my application for no reason) that there are minor differences from the “personal information” section between the TAG file and UC Application (turned in before Nov 30th), which I’ve submitted long time ago. To be specific, the sections at hand are

  • Parents Education History
  • Gross Income

They aren’t different by miles, i.e., for my mother’s academic history, on the TAG I put “2 Year Graduate” but on the UC App have written “Some College.” Also, for the income section, the number differences in TAG and UC App are off by $3000.

No other differences between my TAG file and UC App besides that, all academic records and etc are exactly the same word for word.

I heard from a friend that TAG programs are hella anal when it comes to precise and accurate information. I’m tripping pretty hard about it now, since UC Davis is a school I look forward to attending, and it feels crazy to even THINK that my “guaranteed admissions” MAY be jeopardized by these small differences. Would love to get advice from people who have experienced something like this. Thanks guys, and oh, Merry Christmas! ^^

I don’t see it being that big of a deal. I think you will be fine. That’s all information that you provide on fasfa anyway.

The only way your TAG will actually be jeopardized is if you violate your contract with UCD, which is stated in your TAG acceptance - don’t let your GPA drop below 3.2 or 3.3 (depending on your major) and you can’t get grades lower than a C. Stuff like personal information, classes, other personal information can be changed when you update with your Fall grades.
