<p>Hey, I was wondering what the UCD TAG requirements are for a Bio major. I was looking at their website and to me it looks like its just 3.2 GPA... i can't really tell what classes i need to take. so UCD Bio majors, help me please!</p>

<p>To be admitted to UCD for a Biological Science major the mandatory pre-requisites are one full year of general chemistry, one full year of Calculus, and one Biology course. You have to complete at least one Biology course with a grade of B or better and the Calculus and Chemistry courses with a grade of C or better. In addition you have to have a minimum 2.8 GPA. You’re encouraged to complete a full year Biology sequence and recommended to complete a full year of Organic Chemistry.</p>
<p>For TAG the only difference is that you have to complete the required pre-requisite series (Gen Chem/Calc/one Bio course) by the time of the TAG application, and not leave them for spring. If you don’t have the Calculus/Chemistry series completed at the time of the TAG application you have to have at least a B- in the first semester/quarter of each and then complete the rest by the end of Spring. You also have to have a minimum 3.20 GPA at the time of the TAG application and maintain it to the end of Spring. </p>
