Hey folks.
I got admitted to UC Davis. I attended orientation and registered for class in the fall.
I am currently taking calc 2 right now in the summer. I am struggling to the extreme in the class.
I cannot drop the class because my job is tied to me being enrolled in a course at community college.
If I do not pass the summer course will I lose my admission?
I called the school and spoke to an admissions officer and she said if I did not pass the course (calc 2)
I would simply complete it at Davis.
I did the TAG and it got approve prior to my admission.
I currently registered for calc 2 (to be taken again) at UC Davis during orientation.
-----This is my conditions of admission-----
- Maintain Academic Performance
Complete all transferable in progress or planned courses with a GPA of 3.20 or higher, with no grade less than “C,” by the end of your spring term. To achieve the minimum overall UC-transferable grade point average required, you may need to achieve higher than “C” grades. In addition, you must be in good standing at each collegiate institution that you have attended.
Note: You may verify the courses that have been determined transferable by viewing your transfer credit summary at MyAdmissions.
2. You must complete MATH 71 with a C grade or higher by the end of spring term to replace the D received in the fall.
3. Grades of “D” or “F” and/or dropped courses must be reported and may result in the cancellation of your admission.
If you are in jeopardy of receiving a grade lower than “C” or plan to drop any course(s) in your final term, you must update us through MyAdmissions immediately.
I completed math 71 with a B and have an overall GPA of 3.77.
If anyone has any experience in a similar case as mine let me know what the outcome was.
Also in the following statement
If you are in jeopardy of receiving a grade lower than “C” or plan to drop any course(s) in your final term, you must update us through MyAdmissions immediately.
Is the final term the summer or spring.
I also submitted an update with a message through Myadmissions.
