I haven’t sent my FAFSA to davis yet. Is it too late?
The Regents was extended until the 18th I think- or 17th, I don’t remember off of the top of my head. Either which way, the 20th seems like a sound date to release admissions. Picnic day is the 21st, so I feel like the 20th is a safe estimate. Still, I’ll give them a few hours to see what happens.
your FASFA will be considered late
has anyone at all heard from Davis?!
I just hope that it does come on 4/20 then. Especially since the SIR deadline is on 5/1, it doesn’t give us a lot of time.
@christiicho it’s June first not May 1st
@ebonylmocanu for other campuses it is 5/1. If I don’t get into davis I would rather know sooner than later so I can decide from other schools.

oops did not mean to post that twice lol
Soooooooo anxious, so are we suppose to get an email or do we have to regularly check portal?
Looks like it will be 4/20 as most expected. Last year it was the 21st I believe so I’m sure it’ll be the same Friday this year.
@christiicho UCI and some other campuses have a 6/1 deadline. Which campuses that you know of have a 5/1 deadline?
@1jellybeanaway I think it’s only Cal States that have a 5/1 SIR deadline. I’ve kind of accepted that I’ll just have to forfeit all those since I got two of the UCs I applied to. I don’t trust them to release all the decisions by the 27th haha
@1jellybeanaway I think most CSUs are 5/1 as well as privates. All UCs are 6/1 I believe
6/1 is the deadline for all UC Campuses I believe. Maybe CSU’s because they release decisions much earlier @christiicho @1jellybeanaway
@1jellybeanaway I’m deciding between sjsu, cal poly slo, pepperdine, usc and davis. At this point davis isn’t my first choice but if they give me enough financial aid we’ll see. Those schools have 5/1 deadlines that’s why
@christiicho did usc already send out decisions?
@janice4527 I found out last month I got in!
When my brother applied as a transfer he got waitlisted to his top choice but the waitlist acceptance came after he SIRed somewhere else. He had to pay a fee to the school he SIRed to, but I’d think its worth it. Do the CSU’s not allow you to cancel SIR?
Yeah, Davis better hurry up. It’s the only school that I’m still waiting on. At this point it feels like I’m slowly losing my interest in it. It’s gonna be a hard decision to pick between Davis, Riverside (gave me the highest scholarship) and Pomona/SLO (all of my friends are going there). What sucks is that the SIR date for Pomona/SLO is 5/1 and that literally gives me no time to think about this sort of thing.
