@RaymondAlvaradoH based on the stats website, I think they admit people with >3.0 first, the admit people with lower gpa from waitlist. I live in San Diego, actually kinda wanna go to either UCSB or UCD because I’ve been here too long. Was just applying to UCSD as a crap shot
this wait is killing me. i honestly HOPEEEEEEEEE we find out tomorrow
Do we know what time decisions will most likely be released? Will it be via portal or email? Also, will or financial aid package also be released at the same time or at a later date?
@kt_ay wish i knew. i heard from last year they got their decisions on the 21st after 5 pm but some got their decisions before 5 pm so idk. i asked a freshman who got accepted to Davis recently and said she got an email she didnt have to check her portal.
y’all my 2.79 gpa and I are quaking. pls accept me. i will never complain about anything ever again
hahahah im in the same boat. i have a low gpa around 2.8. i just really hopeeeeeeee i get in. it would just make thingsss so much better. but wont get my hopes up cuz ya never know. ucd make my dreams come true plz
tomorrow ill be refreshing this thread every minute to see if anyone has gotten accepted or not :))
@letmein123 What’s your major if you don’t mind me asking? My major is unimpacted (linguistics) and had a 77% acceptance rate last year so I’m truly hoping there’s a miracle and I get in LOL
Talked to a Davis rep today. She told me admissions will be released tomorrow from around 2-4pm
@AgainstTheOdds PRAYING FOR YOU AND US BUT EXTRA HARD FOR US LOW GPA FOLK
@coolskeleton95 my major is sociology. the rep from uc davis told me its isnt an impacted major there so i should kinda have a chance hahaha i honestly hope i get in ive been studying so hard just to go to davis but oh well if not at least i have ucsc to go to.
@AgainstTheOdds OMG u just my dayyyyyyy literally CANNOT WAIT. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE. I HONESTLY HOPE WE ALL GET IN.
Ugh I also have an impacted major with a low gpa
I got into UCD with TAG and my boyfriend is currently @ Davis as a transfer student as well. He keeps telling me that housing through Davis is the best way to go bc its easier to find roommates that are also transfers which then helps to establish a good friend group. Are any of you planning on housing through davis or seeking housing on your own? I believe the prices differ significantly (obviously more expensive through the school). Just wanting to see the perspective of hopeful transfer students for the fall
i think i am planning on housing through davis. im coming all the way from LA. not sure yet tho literally just stuck in the middle rn cuz i dont know where ill end up at .
I have a midterm tomorrow which is NOT helping my anxiety
@letmein123 are you planning on going to picnic day I’m from riverside not far from la lol
I just don’t get why wait until the day before picnic day. At least give us a week to plan smh
They are literally telling us the day before and most of us live far away I’m about 8 hours away is it confirmed that decisions will be posted tomorrow they may not even be released portal says late April other universities give a specific date
@RaymondAlvaradoH dude I’m like 8 hours away too! I’m from LA
