UC Davis vs UC Santa Barbara Undergraduate Engineering

So which one has more prestige? Which is more hands-on? Which leads to better career opportunities? Which has a better faculty?
Which are better at Aerospace, Civil, and Mechanical

Also if you have anything to say in how they compare in regards to the campus, parties, local atmosphere, administration, dorms, etc… please inform me. Thanks!

UC Davis is far more prestigious than UCSB, but UCSB is still a good school. The engineering department at UCD is also fabulous, and you should definitely check out each school’s engineering website.

UC Davis is the largest UC in terms of campus size and the third largest in terms of student enrollment. UCSB definitely has more of a party scene than UCD but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any parties at UCD. I mean, Davis is a small town so what else can you do other than party? There are plenty of things to do at Davis, but I would say that UCSB has more things to do off campus than UCD.

Davis is 7th in the nation or something like that in Aerospace. I am in the major myself.

I think there is a good party scene here, since I always find something to do if I want to.
