According to the UC Davis Facebook group, people got off the waitlist an hour ago.

@junminbum Link doesn’t work but just search "UC Davis Class of 2021 (Official Group)"on Facebook. 2 people posted that they just got off the waitlist, however I didn’t get anything yet
yes, one was Environmental Science and the other was Animal Bio

I officially lost hope in the Davis waitlist, UCR 2021
Nothing for Computer Engineering for me. 4.1 GPA, 1260 SAT. I have a feeling they are waiting until the last day to reject us all.
Still nothing for me- psych major with 4.2 UC GPA and 2200 old sat. Doesn’t bode very well for us y’all. I suspect they are just waiting to send out the rejections.
If we’re lucky, they’ll release wave two before June lol

@7bean It’s hard to say. The first wave was released last week, and 2 people or so said that they received waitlist decisions yesterday. Hard to believe that such a small smattering of people is the second wave, unless they have only a select number of spots left available.
I have a feeling that they’re done and the next waves are just rejections

Actually though, even if that small handful was the second wave, I think a few people are usually accepted in the form of a third wave, however small. I’m still semi-obsessively checking my portal until they start sending out rejections

I’m curious as well. I’m waitlisted for history but haven’t heard of any history majors either.

I just called the office of admissions and they told me they do not know if they are going to accept more people off the waitlist.
