DD applied for CS in both UCI and in UCD. UCI she got undeclared major but in UCD it is in wait list. Can someone show some light on whether she can agree to pay that 200$ for wait list in UCD. Not sure whether she will get it, additionaly not sure CS. pls guide

sorry. we will be okay to pay $$$ that is what i meant, but atleast if there is a honest short at it. If there are only 4 or 5 vacant sports and if 200 people are in waiting in line i don’t think my daughter will get in . trying to see how to see this situation

UCD is so weird, I put my main major as Biomed but my friend put her’s as her alternative and she got in while I got waitlisted.

I accepted their offer so I hope I can get in.(UCD is my first choice) Though, I read that we will be notified before May 1st, idk if that is true. 
@CChoiDD: Usually waitlisted applicants do not hear until after May 1 since UCD needs to know how many students actually enroll. If many students decline their offers before May 1, then spots will open up and they may take some students off the waitlist. Plan to SIR to another school by May 1, unless you hear otherwise.

@CChoiDD hi, anything bio related is one of the most popular majors here at Davis, and a ton of kids who apply to be in the bio program are often waitlisted or rejected because its so popular. If your friend put a different major as her primary, she probably had a better chance of being accepted.
@TadCooper98 -Are you saying there is a place to submit your fall grades on the UCD portal at same time you submit your 200 word statement?
