UC-Eligibility by Examination Alone

I stumbled across this website and found out that I qualify...UC Admissions . What uc's does this make me guaranteed to to be accepted by?

UC Riverside and UC Merced, I believe. You also have a shot at some other ones, depending.

the lower UC's

sorry :(

O well, it was worth a try.

Actually, it does not guarantee you admission to any UC. Like qualifying with combination GPA and test scores, it means only that you "qualify" for admission by having the minimum score necessary for doing so. All it guarantees is that they will now actually look at your application to determine whether, in fact, you should be admitted.

As drusba says, it does not guarantee admission, but just makes you eligible for UC. It's more for people who don't meet the other requirements -- such as a-g courses, GPA, etc.

^^ disagree with the above two posters: absent a huge budget cut (which may happen this year) if you qualify for admission, you will be offered a spot at a UC; while not the same guarantee as ELC is it pretty darn close . With the exception of a few years ago (again, a budget crisis), EVERYONE who meets the minimum eligiblity is offered a spot at a UC each and every year. It may be Merced, but you will be offered a spot. Heck, Merced is still accepting applications for next fall.....

bluebayou is correct.

It says nowhere that it is a guarantee; the OP is looking for a guarantee. Obviously, Riverside and Merced are the two non-selective campuses. The only "guarantees" are for ELC students; otherwise, ELC would not have any value.
